The 5620 Sure-Set Rod Holder is designed for fast, efficient hooksets. Its hinged tube design tilts back instantly, allowing you to set the hook without delay. Built with a 10-1/2” deep tube and rubber-coated contact points, it securely holds standard rod handles while protecting your gear from damage.

This rod holder is available with multiple mounting options to suit your setup, and it includes the mounting screw (HP-5703) and allen wrench for installation.

One of the mounting plates had beveled holes and one was was flat

One of the mounting plates had beveled holes and one was was flat. I thought the one small screw to hold the rod holder did not look very strong. I did not use the plates, I used a stronger bolt and used a permanent mount. To the boat.
