I don’t ever do these reviews BUT these spring pins are so good that you should make them standard

I don’t ever do these reviews BUT these spring pins are so good that you should make them standard on your rod holders and do away with the wing nut screws that need two hands to operate.

Great upgrade to rod holders but some flaws

The spring pins are a great upgrade to the rod holders. They make adjustments much easier and quicker than the screw in pins. One improvement would be the design. The pin has a square section to tighten the pin into the rod holders. Makes sense for using a small wrench. The issue is the “handle” can spin when you pull the pin out to adjust the rod holder. This prevents the handle from lining up correctly with the square part of pin, causing the pin not to go all the way into the rod holders. It will work if you turn the handle to line it up. You need to be sure to do this or the pin can bend if someone pushes down or pulls up on rod holders. I know this from experience. Overall, still way better than the screw-in pins.
