The Tite-Lok® Stow Away Trolling System is designed to install into a compatible boat seat pedestal. Because boat pedestal systems vary, use the photos below to identify your setup before ordering.
Stow Away pedestal pin: 3/4" diameter x 2-7/8" tall.
If you are unsure which pedestal you have, compare your seat post and floor base to the examples below.
1. Plug-In / Locking Cap Pedestal
FITMENT: ADAPTER REQUIRED
If your boat uses the plug-in style seat pedestal shown below, the Stow Away will not slide directly into the factory pedestal as it comes from the manufacturer.
The factory cap must be replaced with the Tite-Lok Locking Post Cap Conversion. The black converter replaces the original cap and creates the center opening needed for the Stow Away pedestal pin.

- Remove the factory cap from the existing pedestal.
- Install the Tite-Lok converter.
- Insert the Stow Away into the new center opening.

2. Direct-Fit Pedestal Style
FITMENT: DIRECT FIT — NO ADDITIONAL PARTS REQUIRED
If your boat uses the pedestal base and seat post shown below, your existing pedestal is already compatible with the Stow Away.
Simply remove your existing seat post and insert the Stow Away directly into the pedestal base.

3. Swivl-Eze Style Direct-Fit Pedestal
FITMENT: DIRECT FIT — NO ADDITIONAL PARTS REQUIRED
If your boat pedestal and seat post match the examples below, no additions or changes are needed.
Remove your existing seat post and insert the Stow Away directly into the pedestal base.

4. Spring-Loaded Pedestal Style
FITMENT: NOT COMPATIBLE WITH EXISTING PEDESTAL
If your boat uses the spring-loaded pedestal shown below, the Stow Away will not fit into the existing pedestal.
What You Need
You will need to use a compatible Stow Away seat post/pedestal setup like the one shown below.
Once the compatible pedestal setup is installed, the Stow Away can be inserted directly without an additional converter.
